Hilliard Isle
Hilliard Isle is a wonderful, historic and scenic property adjoining east Lake Tohopekaliga in Osceola County. It is approximately 900 acres planned for 1500 homes, a town center, marina parks and greenways.
The master plan shows distinct villages with parks and amenities at each core. Greenbelts, which serve as "storm trails" filter stormwater demonstrating one of the main principles of Low Impact Design. Existing Live Oak canopies and sensitive wetlands are planned to be retained.
Home sites will have limited turfgrass and irrigation, and an emphasized use of Florida native plants.
